
Two criminals were arrested on a bus heading to Santa Fe due to an arrest warrant for robbery and murder of a woman in Lomas de Zamora. The incident occurred when a couple was approached by two thieves on bicycles with the intention to rob. During the struggle, one of the thieves shot the woman in the chest, causing her death before reaching the hospital.
After the tragic event, the Functional Instruction and Trial Unit No. 7 of Lomas de Zamora, under the charge of Dr. César Walter Lucero, issued arrest warrants for the suspects. Agents from the Terminal Bus Police received a request for assistance from the Buenos Aires provincial police to locate the fugitives, who had boarded a bus bound for Santa Fe.
In coordination with the authorities of the Federal Operational Division Santa Fe, an operation was set up to stop the vehicle on Circunvalación Oeste in the capital of Santa Fe. The two suspects were arrested as part of the investigation into the crime, being placed at the disposal of the magistrate for the crimes of aggravated robbery, homicide, and attempted homicide.
